On January 26, 2018, the Joint Laboratory with the Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University (hereinafter referred to as IMR) (Japan) and the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Dalian University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as DUT) (China) agreed on the establishment of a Joint Laboratory. Both institutions shall name this Joint Laboratory: IMR-DUT Joint Lab.
Based on this agreement, both institutions promote cooperation and exchange within the field of materials science and engineering in order to foster academic research and nurture the creative talents of young researchers.
